Is there any way I can get this joystick to work?

OK so I've started playing bf2 again, and I have this joystick.:

http://www.saitek.co.uk/uk/prod/x52.htm .... Use it for FSX

So when I'm choosing the controls in the bf2 settings, for pitch forward I push the stick forward it sets no problem, but the for roll right I'll push the stick right and it says "duplicate key found in controls"...seems kinda gay I can't use such an expensive joy stick for bf2 ...Any ideas?

Delete the controls.con file found in My Documents, Battlefield 2 folder thing, and try again?

Also are you sure your not pushing it forward a little in the process? Just throwing that out as i've had the that problem with joysticks before.

Ok so I downloaded the latest drivers and I can now set the control, but when I go in game the pitch forward/up and roll right/left don't respond

Go into the Jet controls, click defaults, select any control that has "Falcon" in it, and click escape to clear it. Then remap your controls and pwn face.
