-buttons are smaller(may be hard to use?)

I prefer the 3000 over the go. I don't see size as an issue on the 3000. It easily fits into my pocket. On the go the analog stick is in a rather awkward position. The 3000 is way cheaper. UMDs tend to be cheaper than downloads. 3000 uses a normal mini-usb cable instead of a proprietary one.
once upon a midnight dreary, while i pron surfed, weak and weary, over many a strange and spurious site of ' hot  xxx galore'. While i clicked my fav'rite bookmark, suddenly there came a warning, and my heart was filled with mourning, mourning for my dear amour, " 'Tis not possible!", i muttered, " give me back my free hardcore!"..... quoth the server, 404.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you can only get your games on PSN only, on the PSP Go.

The PSP Go has no UDM slot, so yes it is downloaded games only and PSN is their distribution network. They make an applications so that you can do it from a computer too for those who don't own a PS3.

Naw the 2000 is just as easy to hack (cept the last few) and has more memory so it will load porn faster.

Ding ding ding, we have a winner!

The hacking is extremely simple and easy to do, and that unlocks amazing amounts of potential for your PSP. I traded in my GBA and a bunch of its games to get cash towards my PSP and I was uneasy since I thought I might miss it. Well now I've got a GBA emulator, NES, SNES, old PS1 games that I've always loved, can even get some PSP games if you're tight on cash
Btw, if you buy a pandora battery, that's half the hacking done right there, the rest is just putting an installer on your memory stick. (I hacked my own battery and all it involves is opening it up and cutting a certain connection by running over the board lightly with a utility knife a few times; very simple).

However, if it's not something you're up for, definitely choose the Go over the 3000. The newer version is much better, and I've heard that for people just getting into the PSP (i.e. are not upgrading from an older one), the Go is definitely worth it. Lots of memory, digital downloads of games so you don't need any discs, smaller profile... They wouldn't be changing the system if there were ways to make it better. If you don't already have a PSP and a bunch of UMDs, then there's no reason to get a system with UMD support. There may not be the biggest selection of games on the store right now, but they're working on it and you'll eventually have access to anything you could want.

Those bastards at Sony still haven't sent me a network code for my PSP Slim (they don't come with them, even though they should).

Ofcourse, CS is shit like always and doesn't help

But to stay OT, go with the 3000

I actually just purchased the Final Fantasy Dissidia bundle which is the PSP 3000.  The PSP Go seems more like a gimmick to me to warrant a purchase.
