I'm thinking about picking this up, cause it's like <$20 and a pretty interesting gameplay style. I played the demo and liked it. Any other opinions?
Great game. It's got some cool mods out too.
cool I played the 1st one long ago, might get 2nd one then.
1st one is better, alot more strategy and alot more ships, they took alot of features out of the 2nd one to make it easier for ppl to play. Either way its still a great game.
Played it for awhile. Homeworld 1 was somewhat superior, but Homeworld 2 was easier to get the hang of.

The entire Homeworld series is amazing. It's definately a must-have if you are an RTS and/or Sci-Fi monkey fan.

Homeworld is from all accounts the best space RTS better than imperium galatica 1 & 2, however i agree with TrollmeaT try out SUPCOM for size, nothing better than building 15 land factories and churning out 200 tier 2 tanks in a couple minutes. Then going and raping the enemy with a couple bombers just for shits.
Yer, defo worth getting on the cheap. my only gripe was when i played the first one i was mashed off my tits on skunk and the whole moving up and down in 3d space pickled my head for ages. That was my fault as opposed to the games tho
