My nickname is derived from a default name variation in the awesome-but-underrated "Savage: Battle for Newerth." You are called unnamed by default, and the server assigns a number to the end of your name to prevent multiple people with the same ID's. It's a hassle spelling it out for people though. Too complex...

I am a Horse trainer/Instructor. The last time I got thrown was 1977 or 80 not sure. I don't count if they Rear up and fall over backwards, Tirp and Kartwheel or Jump of cliffs. That Stat. became void during that " Cristo " art exibit in Central Park. Broke two fingers, Bridle ripped to pieces, Much troble catching him, ( they know when you are pissed ) Any way I was Horseman as far back as TeamFortess but BF2 needed the 2 digits or it wouldn't take. Years of tradition ruined.

My nick comes from the nickname of a nickname. Everyone calls me DW, my initals. In middle/high school, everyone started to call me D Dubbs. I liked the Dubbs part and started using it a may IDs. In BF2, I added 688 because when I signed up for an email once, they added the 688 part, plus dubbs was taken.

I've used Viper since playing on Birds of Prey on the Amiga 1200 (anyone remember that game?) way back in the early 1990s. It was quite an advanced flight sim for the time and required you to give yourself a code name. I had just watched Top Gun with my best mate Luke and decided that a pilot's codename from that film would be apt since I loved flying the F-14. Can't actually remember if Viper is a codename from the film but I didn't want something lame like Maverick or Iceman so Viper seemed the obvious choice.
I use the 38 cos its my favourite number - for some reason it always reminds me of three of my favourite things - Apples and the colours Green and Red.
On other online games - when Viper38 has not been available - such as Runescape, I've used Shifty38. Shifty is a nickname my buddies gave me because they say I look a little like Shifty Shellshock from Crazy town and because I have a habit of pulling women that they like

The Deadboy part of my name comes from an pen and paper RPG named Rifts that I played in junior high and high school. I even took the game on both of my overseas deployments and had officers playing it. Strange what some of the craziets muthasuckas on the planet like to do eh? I also used Deadboy as my avatar name in PlanetSide.
