Cheap is good, but I'd like a decent monitor at the same time. Looking at the Samsung SM2443BW right now. I'm pretty set on a 16:10 aspect ratio, unless anyone can convince me 16:9 is somehow better?

The Dell 2408WFP is superb (far better than that Samsung one). But you'll complain it costs too much at around £400....

I know it's a great monitor, I've used loads of them but I can't afford it. Sorry we're not all as rich as you are Bertie.
