everything i write is a ramble and should not be taken seriously.... seriously. ♥
Nifty.
Something I've always wanted is a program to monitor the read/write actions of another. The purpose would be an explicit list of everything an installer does so that I could compile multiple installers in to one executable. Like slip-streaming an OS install.
It doesn't seem far fetched, but I've never found such a program.

KMPlayer is considered the new standard. Personally I use MPC-HC since I like the GUI better and it uses CUDA, but KMPlayer is definitly better than 99% of media players
Exactly, where's my CCCP+MPC option?

problem is that most of those programs become outdated very quickly, so if you are keeping it as a backup, so if you reformat you can quickly and easily install all your programs again, they will be outdated as soon as you install them.
What? Dude it's just if you need to download a lot of programs in one go, like if you're setting up a computer. You don't have to update all your programs every week if you don't want to.
And every week is a HUGE exaggeration.
Also, so what? You don't need to redownload anything. Most programs automatically tell you of updates and install them themselves. Jeez...

Yeah I'm failing to see what there is to bitch about. It saves you having to visit a hundred websites and download installers, what's not to love?
