It is legal in many countries, and its illegality is controversial in many others.
All the OP had to do to make it 'legal' would be to say "How much is weed in your area?". It isn't illegal to know.
I don't know what the stuff costs in grams here, because I don't use it myself. But I do know you can buy ready-made joints for €2.
