Is that how 'spensive RAM is nowadays?.. I bought mine on Ebuyer, Corsair 800Mhz lifetime warrenty, £30 a stick (2GB).

Get same model sticks you got now. You want identical ram sticks.

edit: also why would you waste your current kit by getting 2x2gb kit? You can just grab a 2x1GB dominator kit to go with your current one.
