Can't go wrong with GTA IV, Batman: AA or NHL 2010. I've got all 3 and love them.

The new HALO game is promising. So i voted for that one
Batman imo. But what games do you normally like? Batman is so completely different. Best game this year I reckon. ODST has a very short single-player and the multiplayer ain't that hot.
GTA4 is going to give the longest playing but Batman has an story line

GTA4, the only one I particularly enjoyed.
Batmans meant to be pretty good.
If you're into your halo2/3 and getting a bit burnt out, ODST looks pretty much the same but better

ODST isn't much better than Halo 3, sorry...
I played GTA4 and Batman on the PC.
Both were really good, but Batman was real buggy because I got the torrent version and RockSteady made a really slick anti-Piracy thing.
But yeah, GTA4 is much longer, with much more content, however it is frustrating and feels drawn out at times. Batman much more short and to the point, however that does come at a cost of vastly less gameplay hours. Normally I don't like fighting games but Batman did it right, isn't as repetitive as it looks and will make you nostalgia trip back to the 1990's Batman Cartoon, as both Kevin Connolly and Mark Hamil are in it.

It's alright, I'll give it that. The graphics are pretty stunning, sometimes, the physics engine is rather good, I never played it on a console, which might be where you guys are getting your opinions from, but to me it felt like a buggy half-arsed port.
I'd say GTA IV and/or Batman. I've not played Batman myself but in general you only hear good things. And GTA should last you a good while. And even longer if you get the 360 episodes.
Can I vote again? Batman, because GTA4 isn't THAT different from the other 8 (?) GTA's

it's a miserably poor list, none of them are particularly good. GTA4 is easily the best of the bunch.
