I just saw that they got Lemmy Kilmister in a cameo roll as a character called "The Kill Master" and I was instantly stoked, not to mention Ozzy as "The Guardian of Metal", (although getting Ozzy isn't as tough as getting Lemmy. Still kick-ass though.) Tim Curry too.Flecco wrote:
It's actually his dream game.
He's pretty big into his metal apparently and always wanted to do an all out heavy metal game. I had an interview in a mag about the game somewhere around here.
From what I've seen the humour is classic Schaeffer from the Grim Fandango and Psychonauts years which is not particularly subtle or clever but it's fun. His timing is spot-on.
As to the multiplayer - from what I've seen it looks like a noble attempt, it may have been just shoe-horned in there because no-one seems to like games that don't have multiplayer any more - even, perhaps especially when they don't need it. I don't think it will be remembered by it's multiplayer anyway.
Of course as this is only on console I will never play it. Unfortunate really, there is only about one game every five years that's console only that I want to play but when it hits it hits hard.
