This paper could have been called 'message from Vietnam' without changing a lot of it: there is no difference between the stories told by vets from the Vietnam era and the ones told now by vets from Iraq.
The author said it himself, in the end, where he tells the only people who understand him are the vets themselfs.
Nonetheless, I still respect this guy for doing what he had to do, even though he knew very well, even more then the people at the time in Vietnam, that his mission in Iraq was politically motivated and had nothing to do with the lies told to him by the us govt at that time.
