Whenever it's shutdown, it always freezes at 'initializing USB devices'. When I turn the power off for 10 seconds, it loads. For some reason, I can't manage to flash the BIOS either, it can't find the flashdrive. I don't really want to buy a new 775 mobo, but I can't afford 500 quid for i7. This sucks.
Okay.
Try unplugging all USB mass storage devices before you start it up. That includes card readers and other garbage.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP
Already done that, still no luck.
Try unplugging all USB devices, including front USB ports and other internal crap.

Reset CMOS, for whatever that is worth. Just take that thing out and put it back in.
