The 27" iMacs are quite nice. The rest is either no big change or is shit. Dunno about the mouse thingy....
What about all the designers complaining still about Apple not giving a matte option on their stuff like they did 2 years ago?
What about all the idiotic Mac users who like to poke their LCDs with their fingers and then claim for a new LCD on warranty?

That's why the change happened. They put a big fucking bit of glass in front of all LCDs. Which, imo, is fucking stupid since loads of their market use the machines for graphics and that glass ruins them for that. They've pretty much just moved themselves out of the premium display market like complete retards.
What's the downside to the glass for professionals? I find the reflections annoying.

The reflections distort the images. Another thing to remember when designing - not everyone has the same kickass hardware that you have. You have to design it for everyone else to look at, not other designers. My friend does websites and she's mentioned a few times having to do a few things slightly differently because most people use IE versus Chrome or FF.

im an avid apple user even though i can still use pc at work without a problem. i never , EVER put my fingers or poke my LCD screen. people who do that crap all the time with glass screens or the MAT's from the mac book pros are retarded. a good graphics card is only useful for video and picture editing. not gaming since apple is not a gaming platform, even i know that.

i know apple sells an $800 USD 24 inch monitor... man give me a break.

And I've worked doing Apple repairs and support for a few years and have seen just how common this sort of stupid behaviour is.

No, you can't get an iMac (at least not the 27") with any kind of SSD. I thought you could change the HDDs out of them with relative ease (what a Mac-loving friend told me), but I have no idea on that one, tbh.
Well they are wrong. Unless you have suction cups for removing the glass. A torx 6 and torx 8 screwdriver and a dust free environment and dust removal roller for the glass (cleaning the glass from iMacs before putting it back on is a pain in the arse).
