But he's already got the rank of Master Sergeant there, and he has 21712, and to get Master Sergeant you need 20000 without Pistol & Knife badges, so I think he already got his promotions and its just a glitch
It's a bug. Happened to me before. Bugs like this one were known before, but I thought that they fixed it with 1.2 . I guess not. Btw. Don't worry, your stats is OK, you just don't see the progress.

Shame that guy on P-Murdas team had to ruin our kidnapping by killing me.
Mine was like that from the last patch to now. I got promoted at 50,000 and its still like that on BFHQ....ever since 1.21.
That Noob couldent kidnap me if I was idle in server he tryed Kidnaping me and he ended up owning him self I.e he tryed crashing in to me I killed him on his kamikazi, I dont even need2 own him kidnaping he dos that himself prety goodE7IX3R wrote:

Is that the rank where you have to have certain badges to get promoted? I am to lazy to look it up. i had similar thing, my bar was all white forever and it ended up being I didnt have all my basic badges. If so you just got screwed out of a promotion. You have to have them before you get the points..

Hopefully this bug will be fiexed in 1.3 or whatever Hotfix coemes out next.
This occurs when you make Master Sargent, and then get your badge requirements for First Sargent. First Sargent is technically a rank above Master sargent so the game engine thinks you should be promoted..... But EA/DICE dont allow you to rank up from Master to First.
