I got the flu last year (which is rare for me). Coincidentally it was the first time I had a flu shot in a long time also. I know that they inject you with the virus in its dead/dying stage.. but I'm suspect..lol. You guys know its a crap shoot right? They try to guess which version will be prevalent that year.

Yeah it's a dying virus, but still, it's that much more energy going towards finishing off / learning how to deal with the virus, that could be going towards making a baby.

Well the Norwegian government recently went out and advised everyone to take the swine flu shot, so I probably will as well.
I mean, it doesn't take a lot of effort now, does it?

It's like a vaccine for HIV possibly giving you cancer. Sure it's important that everyone be immune to HIV, but I'm not gonna risk getting cancer in exchange for total protection against a virus that I'm not guaranteed to get anyway.
