I'll go for the Cooler Master Silent Pro M700.

How does the new Intel SSD firmware work for you? Some people had issues with it, works fine for me though.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Why would you want to carry two phones around?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Tegra as in PDA. Specs eat alive these phones. Phone for calls, PDA for PDA stuff.mikkel wrote:

Are there any Tegra PDAs out at all? As far as I can tell, the first non-media player devices using Tegra chips are slated to be.. smart phones. And why would you carry a basic phone and a PDA, when you can get a single device that'll do what you need?GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Why would anyone want a small phone with very long battery life over big brick with one day battery life at max?mikkel wrote:

Because in the "brick", you get Internet connectivity and all the features that go along with it. And you don't have to carry around a device as pointless as a PDA as well.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

If PDA is as useless as I say, why do you need the features in first place then? I would be very pissed off to run out of battery on my phone every day. As atm it lasts over week in every day use.mikkel wrote:

Here is Zune HD review, Tegra based. Just a bit bigger than iPOD.

A PDA is pointless because it was made obsolete by smart phones. Because, you know, people would rather carry around one device that does the job of a phone and a PDA, with better connectivity options to boot, than carry around two devices and be burdened with PDA syncing.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

So no one wants iPOD for example? Thats new. Because Tegra is size of an Ipod. And having phone with long battery life + iPOD sized PDA = top of the wish list for many.

The iPod is a media player. It serves a different segment and a different purpose, and is not at all comparable with a PDA. Neither is the Zune. Tegra also isn't the size of an iPod. Tegra is a system on a chip, and if it was the size of an iPod, I don't think it'd be a highly successful product.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

Basic phones and PDAs have been available for years, and if "having phone with long battery life + iPOD sized PDA = top of the wish list for many," then not only would these people already own this combination, but smart phones wouldn't be outselling PDAs by a factor of fifty.

You have no idea how hot product Tegra as platform is atm. If I remember right, it even won the contract for next gen PSP. There hasn't been good enough SoC to handle all if this stuff before, now we do.
It will sell like hot cakes, just you wait.

You clearly failed to understand my post, but since you're no longer on the topic of smart phones, then I assume that the discussion is over.GC_PaNzerFIN wrote:

I carry a smartphone and a Blackberry. With regular use, the smartphone charge only lasts a day or two. The Blackberry holds a charge for a good week, with emails everyday. Point is, I want a phone that can last me for days without charging if the need arises, like while traveling all over the place and keep it on all the time so I can take calls and read emails whenever. At the same time, I want the functions my smartphone has from time to time. But when travelling, I can leave it off when not used, thus conserving power. But while it is off, I can't take calls.
What's the battery capacity on those two devices Ilo?Ilocano wrote:

Going by published stats, so you know how that goes....Sup wrote:

Blackberry 8820: 5 hours of talk time (weird, I get longer hours), 24 days of standby
HTC Pro: 7 hours of talk time (yeah, right, not when it has been on for half the day), 15 days of standy (turned off you mean).
I'm more interested in its capacity in milliamperes if its mentioned anywhere.Ilocano wrote:

1350 mAh for the standard HTC Pro battery. But I've seen extended ones for 2000mAh..Sup wrote:

1400 mAh for the standard C-X2 Blackberry battery.
I don't doubt it. Why are you saying this to me?Ilocano wrote:

Probably trying to point out its not that uncommon to carry at least two devices with you all the time. Usually its phone and IPOD/similar these days. When devices such as Tegra based get more popular and down in the price, that iPOD/similar could easily switch to something more powerful and advanced. No real problem there.

Need a decent mic..I don't really feel like spending more than $40 and the audio itself doesn't have to be fantastic.
Oh and Amazon/Newegg/other US shipping places plx

Because you said opinion that Tegra-like devices will not sell good unless they are expensive smart phones. I post comment about that.mikkel wrote:

If you think that no one should be talking to you, why are you here?
