w7 raw file help

h have x64 w7 and just took some raw .cr2 shots from a canon 1ds. anyways, w isn't recognizing the format and when i try to open it in CS4 it says it cant open because its not the right type of document or something

edit: just found out it doesn't work with x64

looks like i have to reformat to x86.

Where did you find that? Most people say that if you just install the RAW codec for x86 it still works....
