2900XT 1024mb
CoolerMaster 600w eXTREME Power
video card has 1 6pin and 1 8pin connector on it.
So Ever since I had my 2900, I only had one 6pin connected to it. I tried connected 2 6 pins, but it wouldn't boot. Most people have 2 6pins connected to it, so I never understood why and never looked into it since it worked with one.
Recently I installed new drivers, and whenever I get into windows I get this message
Sooo that means I been playing with an underclocked video card all this time without knowing it. checked in gpu-z, and did a log to see if it was power saving when on desktop, and nope it stays the same in games aswell
stock clocks:
gpu 743mhz
memory 1000mhz
my clocks
gpu 510mhz
memory 511mhz
It wont let me connect the second 6 pin, cause if I do it won't boot no matter what I try. I want to use my card to it's full capacity dammit! help?
