Yeah, thanks for that haha! Nah, it was good, got to go out on a Friday night, just relax, have a few cigs whilst hunting for a decent photo. Also had some drunk 15 year olds come up to me... 'Oh wow are you like a photographer or something?' Was a good laugh. Away to sift through the rubbish and find the decent ones and upload.Kmarion wrote:

Nope, dont have very many flowers around my house at all actually... I get most of them while on school field trips. Im usually more happy with the pictures I take of flowers so they get posted a lot more
The one I just posted I took at the botanical gardens at the Ballard Locks in Seattle

" I look at my photography like this. When I make an image it belongs to me. It belongs to me while I take the photo. It belongs to me while it sits in my camera. It belongs to me while I process it on my Mac. It belongs to me while I let it sit in an archive folder waiting to be uploaded to the internet. Then I upload it to the internet and it’s like I’m taking a bird and opening my window and letting it go. Off she goes. Her song to be enjoyed by the entire world — certainly no longer mine."

I've also discovered that flickr strips embedded copyright data from files. I was hoping this would have been a great alternative to having a watermark

fuck photobucket. go flickr.
but honestly, take every single one of my captures and give them away. i get paid to do IT stuff,
if someone likes my pics i'll give them the negative.

Lol, I meant flickr. I'm pretty sure photobucket leaves it intact.burnzz wrote:

I get paid to do art stuff, so I think I'll hang on to the rights, thanks.
It's the practical view.OmniDeath wrote:

What type of data are you talking about exactly?I've also discovered that flickr strips embedded copyright data from files. I was hoping this would have been a great alternative to having a watermark

You can also set your images at flickr to prevent downloading (spaceball.gif). There is of course ways around, but it's another step.
