Removing the "Number of players needed" message. How ?

I know there is a way to remove that message before the game starts, and I know the answer is somewhere around in this forum but I searched for like an hour allready but couldn´t find it anymore...
Sombody knows ?

Ok...Problem solved.

I did some experiments with the Localization file (Thanks to majorassult) and found out the following :

Change the line :

HUD_STARTOFROUND_NRPLAYERSNEEDEDThe game will start when #NROFPLAYERS# more player(s) join

into :

HUD_STARTOFROUND_NRPLAYERSNEEDED

and you´re good to go !
No more annoying message anymore...

Because it´s annoying, when you chat before the game starts and half of your written stuff is covered by that message.

Yeah, I had my thoughts about that, too.
It´s probably a server side thing. I checked the localization files and it has the message in there but no amount of players to change...

1. No, i don´t have access to that setting in BF2CC and even if, it would only change it for one specific server not all of them.

Just find it in your localization files then delete it but leave the 2 squares...as long as you leave a backup you can play around with the files until you get it

I think he means a console command which lets you turn off the "x players needed to start the round".

I'd like to know this command too,the message is kinda irritating while practicing stuff in a local game or when you are on a server with only 3 or 4 people dogfighting around in a J-10 waiting for more people to join.

I know it is somewhere hidden in those tons of post but I've been unable to find it yet myself...

So,anyone who knows what the OP and me are talking about - post the command,plz!!

EDIT:oops,just saw the top post.Seems it works with localization files aswell,ok...
