4850 at the very least.

4870s probably have a good price now.

4870's are a good price right now... but i would get a 5770 instead, on par performance and dx 11 compliant

949.00  for this computer... better and more power for gaming
i5 750
ati 5770
4gb ram... 2 empty slots for upgrade
1tb 7200 rpm hd
600 watt psu

the comp you had the link to has a 5400 rpm hd... the one above is 7200rpm
and the 4650 is not super powerful....

Any reason why you don't want to build one yourself?

if you're not going to build it yourself, Seal ... then Catbox's suggestion is about as good as it will get. The Intel 750 will also blow the pants off that AMD that you picked out.

I've built computers before but really what I wanted to do was get an HP 25 inch for 265 shipped and try to get another comp for around 900 shipped. So if you guys can build me something super good for ~900 shipped then im open to it. I don't need an OS either. ive got a pretty tight budget here

Well, looking at that HP for what you get it seems like a good deal. But I'll put a good guess into it and say most of the parts in there aren't of great quality. I made a build there for $850(without shipping+without rebates so it's a good 30$ if you get rebates) which should give you more than enough room for shipping aswell, you could up the HDD for a 1TB aswell if the shipping isn't too bad. The only real difference is the RAM, 4GB and not 8GB, do you really need 8GB?

Also the build has a good CPU cooler in there too, so you can have a try at overclocking. OC'ing to that 3Ghz would be a breeze I would think. I don't post much builds here but I'd rather it than any pre-made as I know what parts are in there!

Well you could remove the CPU cooler and make that RAM quantity x2 instead for 8GB. Maybe even change the GPU to something less.
