driver special ability is...as an engineer : repairing another vehicle while in one, as a medic : healing people while in a vehicle, as support : resupplying your troops with ammo while in a vehicle.
and there you have it. i fairly sure you don't have to be the driver in the vehicle but not entirely certain on that.

Its when someone in teh vehicle you are driving gets a healing point, ammo point, or repair point.
Have you seen where it says "Driver kill assist"?
It will say "Driver Ability Assist".
Just fly a blackhawk for about 30 seconds with full passengers in mastuur, or drive around a humvee with a support guy in the back.

Hmm. does blowing up commander stuff with c4 from the back of a humvee count now?(for the driver of course)

It must be that way, because otherwise the biggest Driver score would be just around 1000 if the driver kill assists would go into "Kill assists".

hum, been trying to get that ribbon for quite some time now. and everytime a heal someone outside the vehicle i always get a healing/reapair or support point no special abillty point
so a Driver Kill Assist is considered to be a driver point?
Yes, too. But it's not considered Driver Special Ability. It just adds to the same "Driver" stat as Driver Special Ability.ArkAng37 wrote:

And McCullough, when you heal/resupply someone outside the vehicle, it's the driver who gets the Driver Special Ability point!
If you were driving the vehicle, when you got it, you should get just a healing/ammo giving point (like you did?) and the people who are in the vehicle with you, get nothing.
So, the drivers get more points sometimes! And they can decide where to drive/fly

THIS IS A DRIVER ABILITY ASSIST WHICH MANY PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ABOUT. YOU GET IT BY SOMEONE IN YOUR VEHICLE GETTING A SUPPORT, MEDIC, OR REPAIR POINT.

they all count as driver points, the points u make, while u drive, except kills YOU did!doxy wrote:

well, u drive him, to where he is needed. i.e. u got a engineer on the passenger seat, drive to a destroyed object (bridge, uav, scanner...) it will get fixed, like u were an engineer, driving by something, that has to be fixed, the engineer will get a repair point, u will get a driver special ability point.

u also get one, for a supplier/medic, who has dropped his supplies/med packs before he has entered the vehicle, and someone collects them during your teamplay on the road/in the air.
