me either, but the kid inside of me wishes i could still find them fun

these last 2-3 months ive started hardcore partying, playing guitar and skating again... basically relapsing 3-4 years to irresponsible teen behaviour. living away from home at uni just gets so over-serious and stressful sometimes, like everyone's in such a massive hurry to grow up and become perfect model adults. i wish i could still find it fun to shoot shit in an fps game or to escape to some casual WoW or something. real life and actual responsibility is a drag!

I really do not consider my uni life to be "real life" in any way at all. I don't really have to worry about money, I can go out any day of the week that I choose, and I can miss lectures if I feel like staying in bed without there being any major consequences.

Also, why is tweekly.fm doing my weekly top artists now? Doesn't it normally do it on Sunday ... ?

oh yeah, sorry. dont mistake me... my shirking of the 'model adult lifestyle' is only because i recognize the actual reality that living at university isn't like 'real life' at all. it's a bubble. i just wish i could (re)experience fond things from younger days still-- whether or not we're accepting the full responsibilities and roles of independent adults at the moment, there's still undeniably a 'growing up' process that makes awesome stuff like computer games and teenage hobbies become boring and lackluster. i almost feel too old to subscribe to an MMO again, or to go for a skate with my ipod. such a weird, transitory phase. just my general apathetic mood for the day i think.
