I think that this is the best aerial fight scenes i ever seen. In "Pearl Harbor", you can see a beautifull dogfight in the part of Battle of Britain, but the dogfights of WWI, in my opinion, is far more relevant for the air combat history (even when i have the Supermarine Spitfire as the favorite plane of all times).

So watch this little movies, and enjoy. And remember: its a GERMAN movie, so some people doesn't know about its existence. See you guys on the servers!!!

The Red Baron was a shit movie. Full stop. Every Fokker dr.1 was red. If you have any knowledge of WWI aviation that's enough to make anyone hate it. I've a huge interest in WWI aviation in particular and really, really hated the The Red Baron movie.

If you want a good WWI movie that doesn't piss on historical accuracy, watch as suggested above The Blue Max.

The reality was that if you were a good WWI fighter pilot, you'd shoot your enemy in the back without them ever knowing you were there.

Many of the pilots could see that there was no honour in the above.

Ya... The Dr.I was such a good aircraft.
Thats why the Fokker D.VII is the one that The Armistice ending the war specifically required Germany to surrender to the Allies at the conclusion of hostilities.

That's another thing which was great about the Blue Max. He was given an outdated Pfalz and complained about it.

I think you can't read well. Im not saying that the movie is good, or a history class. I was clear: "the best aerial scenes". And i really dont see any better, even in movies with jets. And in this movie, the fokkers was not all red. You are making confusion with other movie (Flyboys).

NEVER a movie will be totally based on true facts, i know that since my childhood, im not stupid.
