I do not know people get upset with Nature takes it course. Maybe it's the beer and staying up most of the night but for the deer's situation: the biotch had it comin'  Ok time to sleep it off

I imagine the zoo has deer there? Maybe one got out? Or perhaps a wild one wandered into the park somehow?

I love how animals have that confused look on them when things don't go as they should (like the deer, swimming, away)

It was a wild deer who jumped in the Lion's den. I guess deers need to start evolving to understand Lion's den is srs bidness.
I did see an alligator munch down on a chipmunk. The gator was letting off steam; it had it's mouth open close to the water's edge.
The chipmunk ran along the water's edge and across the gator's mouth. By instinct, gators shut their jaws as soon as they sense something in their mouths. The chipmunk did not stand a chance.
