I listed a laptop on ebay and the winning auction was by guy who has a seemingly legit account. Located in California, lots of positive feedback. However there are a couple of negative feedback that raise eyebrows.
After winning the auction I get his shipping info. He wants the laptop shipped to a university in NIGERIA. I send him an email asking what the deal was. He wrote with horrible spelling that he was away from home on business and he bought this laptop for his nephew who is studying in Nigeria. I responded saying that I only ship to the US and I felt like I was being scammed by him by his bidding with a US based account and then asking for a shipment to Nigeria. He asked for my full name and paypal email, non of which he needs to complete the transaction. I've contacted ebay.
