Ok, so every time I startup my PC it BSOD's just after logging in. Not always at the same spot, sometimes it loads up the desktop and a couple programs and sometimes it does it immediately after log in.... I can boot into safe mode fine. I have tried putting my windows disk in and repairing, i've also used the windows disk tool to scan for any memory/hardware issues. So i'm guessing it might be a program on startup thats screwing up? or just the OS taking a shit.

I'm about to try a system restore, but I thought i'd come to you guys to see if you had any suggestions. The problem only started this morning(hour or two ago). I'm hoping I don't have to re-format, but if I have to I will.

Thanks guys.

when you get a blue screen, it will give an error code - "0x000007e" or something, and the faulted application. get the last two letters/numbers (7e) and the name of the app.

It didn't say a faulted application. but the last 2 letter/numbers were 3b

Under "Files that help describe the problem" in safe mode it has:
C:\\Windows\Minidump\Mini111509-13.dmp
C:\\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\WER-99247-0.sysdata.xml
C:\\Users\MYUSERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp\WER62E7.tmp.version.txt

Disable automatic reboot on stop errors by pressing F8 on boot (just hammer it from just before Windows starts loading) and selecting advanced boot options. Then take a picture of it if you have a camera up for the job, or write down what THE_TEXT_IN_CAPAITAL_LETTERS reads, as well as the 0x00000031a-ish code.

The idea of any hi-fi system is to reproduce the source material as faithfully as possible, and to deliberately add distortion to everything you hear (due to amplifier deficiencies) because it sounds 'nice' is simply not high fidelity. If that is what you want to hear then there is no problem with that, but by adding so much additional material (by way of harmonics and intermodulation) you have a tailored sound system, not a hi-fi. - Rod Elliot, ESP

Is that the memory diagnostic tool under system repair on the windows disk? because I have tried that (I suppose I could try again).

Error is:

SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION

It seems likely for it to have something to do with graphics card drivers. Try uninstalling your graphics card drivers from safe mode.
