Alright, I need help with Word 2007, specifically in make Chicago style footnotes (at the end of each page).
All I want is a foot note section with a list of references/notes at the end of each page. I obviously do not want to the same list to appear at the end of every page.
I click on the 'references' tab at the top, and it seems to provide what I want. I tried using the AB^1 button with the words 'insert footnote' and sure enough it's exactly what I want. The problem is each time I try to click enter to add the next footnote for that page, it just jumps to the following page and starts me with footnote 1 on that.
How do I add multiple footnotes to a single page? I fucking hate footnotes. Endnotes are the way of the future.
EDIT- figured that shit out. You have to click the button ever single time you want to add a footnote for it to do things properly, you can't enter them manually.
