How are they any different? Someone posts on bf2rs because they disagree with someones actions, you are posting here because you disagree with someones actions. These are remarkably similar in nature. When I started as a pfc in bf2, I was ranked around 500,000 in the world. Now, assuming that most of them are decent/not-spastic it's fair to say that around 490,000 of those players are cohering to and obeying the rules.
If all of us play by the rules then you should to. Imagine you were in a bar playing snooker and you cheated to gain a win by deception. You'd likely get a smack in the mouth.
And that's the thing, people who stat pad are gaining an advantage through deception and cheating. They are affecting my place in the goddamned ladder.

If you do decide to play on knife/pistol only servers, make sure they are not ranked. Otherwise you are playing with fire, as I mentioned these servers are against the ranked server ROE and you run the risk of getting your stats wiped. The folks at bf2rs do actually pay attention, and the #4 guy on the leaderboard was almost wiped for this reason.nev wrote:
