Now, Rome is not a car friendly city.
Old roman stone roads are still in wide use in the center and the streets are like mazes but tiny, and it doesn't help the fact that people park their cars half on the side walk and half of it on the road, which makes the already tight roads even tighter, but its fine. We are used to it.
But it doesn't help that due to the world summit 4 big major streets that connect the center and the outskirts of Rome are blocked because the FAO building is in between all of them. ITS A FUCKING CHAOS!!! I got stuck in a traffic jam for an 1 hour and 30 mins. I thought I was free and then I would find my self infront of an army of Carabinieris telling me the road is blocked and i have to take another route. Now you might think, well i would just find another road right? NO!!! because in rome most of the small streets that you might use to find another route are one way streets. SO i would go around in circles to find an alternative route and find my self either stuck in traffic or another road block.
Why not have the summit in a fucking hangar out of fucking nowhere causing no traffic at all and have no terrorist threat...
