Well you see Ferret, the problem is that people who do not challenge the rules simply fall short of bringing personality. For example:

Now honestly, any of the old timers could easily tell you the difference between then and now. Yes, then it was a bit more rowdy and you never knew what kind of shit was gonna get pulled, BUT THAT WAS THE FUN OF IT!! You never knew what to expect and every night there was something new and original and hilarious happening. Like for instance the ping pong threads, that was so imple yet so hilarious and didnt cause any harm, yet people got banned. Everyone laughed and most people remember it and snicker.

Nowadays, since those guys are gone, you know what to expect everytime you come here, not that its bad, but there is no spontiniuety(sp?) to the site anymore. Basically you just have a lot of threads talking about what's going on in the news or a thread about someone asking a question or a poll about something mundane. Also, notice of those people in the lists above are mods.

I hope that clears it up for you lowing.

Bah, when I left, Fancy, ig and Cybargs were banned but I guess they were temp/removed.

Xietsu may be mispelled but I guarantee you he was an old guy who fucking drove me nuts in D&ST for many months. He was banned for sure because we trolled him to the point of photoshopping dicks on our faces and posting it, thus banning himself.
