If you need any hints for a combat badge, Look below: (Cannot think of pistol combat or knive combat)

If you need Engineer Combat Badge:
-Unlock the MP-7 when promoted a rank. The MP-7 is a little better than the MK3A1, M11-87, S12K, and the NOR982 because the MP-7 is not a shotgun.

If you need Sniper Combat Badge:
-If you are playing a map that has an uncapturable place, (which is a main base) go to that place and snipe all the enemies on a hidden spot.

If you need Anti-tank Combat Badge:
-Try finding a group of people very near to each other, take out your SRAW/Eryx, (of course, find a hidden spot) and try destroying as many people at a time with your SRAW/Eryx.

If you need Assault Combat Badge:
-Do the same thing with the Anti-Tank, but use the grenade launcher (aim with care!).
-Try to destroy an enemy helicopter that is full of people in it. At least, if you destroy one full enemy helicopter, you can get the Basic Assault Combat Badge.

If you need Spec-ops Combat Badge:
-Put C4s around your own flag in case enemies capture it. Also hide. If they do capture your flag, immediately take out your RC-90 (detonator) and click! There must be at least five people near the C4s to get the Basic Spec-ops Combat Badge. (Don't go too far away, or if you detonate far away from the C4s, the C4s won't explode.

If you need Medic Combat Badge:
-Do the same thing with the Anti-Tank, but use the frag grenade.

If you need Support Combat Badge:
-Unlock the PKM, because it does the most damage per shot than any other LMG (Light Machine Gun).

Also, there is an easier way to get a combat badge if you are good at being a commander. You can first hide where hopefully no one sees you. Then, you can Scan, UAV, Artillery, and Supply Drop.

Not the best guide ever, but helpful to those that are new to the game i guess

It's sort of like 'a guide on how to get your basic combat badges very quickly'

How qualified are you to write this guide anyways?

First of all, the SRAW/ Eryx is a realtively good anti-infnatry weapon, but i don't think I have ever seen it kill two infantry at once with the exception of a medic on top of a freshly revived soldier. Please, do not run into a nest of enemies and expect your SRAW to save you. If your good/lucky you'll get one, then that's it. I would recommend the DAO-12 or P-90, whichever is your preference, and just make sure to get right in people's faces with the DAO.

As far as the MP-7, I personally do prefer the MP-7, but it is not better than the shotguns, just different, and as a matter of fact the pump-action shottys can be quite deadly. If your gonna be in close quarters like karkand alleys, I'd go with a shotgun, but on a bigger map go with the MP-7. Also, be sure to use those AT mines. Ever since they turned off the mine punish, there'sno reason you shouldn't, and you can catch a lot of tank drivers unaware.

As far as sniping, if your not to good and just want your basic badge, I'd probably go with either the Type 88 or the SVD, and do some mid-range sniping. Don't have to really aim for the head with those, asn you can get three fairly accurate body shots off pretty quick. However, if your running around in the alleys, have your pistol out, and you'll have a much better chance than with your rifle in close quarters. Also, as with the mines, make sure to use those claymores! Always put them behind you if you are going to lay down somewhere and snipe for awhile, but they can also be very deadly at choke points. Just be sure to put them against a wall facing the entrance instead of ride in the entrance, because you want enemies to come inside and get themselves blown up, not go "Look, there's a claymore, I should take an alternate route!". Wherever it is, be sure they can't see it until it's too late.

Mmmmm, assault. This is a very powereful class, even after it got "nerfed". The grenade launcher is an excellent weapon with practice, and I highly recommend using it, but if you just want to get your badge and be done with this class then it has some nice assault rifles as well. I personally love the G3, just get in people's faces, reload often, and watch the kills rack up. I also like the AK-101 and AK-47, but if you are going to use the grenade launcher than I prefer the M16A2/M203.

Medic, one of the most unbalanced classes in the game. You have an excellent assault rifle, and can heal yourself and others at your whim. Personal favorites for this class are the aks and the G36E, though the L85 and M16 aren't too shabby. These weaponsa re all pretty darn accurate, so this is a good class to hold back a little bit. Remember, if you start to get hurt in the middle of a fight, run around a corner and drop yourself a medpack, then pull out your rifle when you're waiting to absorb it and blow the guy away when he comes looking for his "easy" kill.

Support, yes the PKM is an excellent weapon and very easy to score kills with, but don't discount any of the other weapons. This badge is easily doable with any of the weapons, especially if you remember your secret weapon, unlimited grenades. You can never run out, so if your not sure, throw a grenade around that corner or into that dark alley. And please, for the rest of us, drop some ammo bags!

Spec-Ops, personal favorite gun here is G36C. Excellent accuracy, and with it, you could very easily get this badge with your carbine alone. However, c4 is also a great tool, to use for traps, blowing up that unaware tank, jihading, or, as the original poster states, flag traps. However, c4 will explode no matter how far away you are from the c4. I repeat, it does not matter how far you are away from the c4, it will always blow up. So put some c4 on a flag you think the enemy is pushing for, then hide, and whenever you see the flag turn neutral on the mini-map, from your distant and safe position, detonate it, and feel good.

Not the best, but if you just want to get the badge and leave the class alone, I don't think it's too bad. 'Course you could also just hop in a jet or a tank and whore for it.
