So my housemate bought a laptop and considered getting a student edition of Office 2007 with it. I told him not to as I had a copy of Office 2007 Profesional Plus lying about. I installed it for him and it worked perfectly. 15 Minutes later he knocks on my door saying: "Lai, that software,.. it is in some kind of mad language!" I never realised, but aparently my copy of Office was in Dutch. In any case I figured I could just change the language settings as English is provided with all language versions of Office without the need to buy an additional language pack. I go to the Office language setting tool an pick English. It accepts the new settings and does not prompt for any CD or anything. However, upon restarting Office, everything is still in Dutch.
I figured this might have to do with Office 2007 originally being released in 2007 and thus it might not be as compatible with Windows 7 as it should, but other than that I am absolutely clueless. Anyone know how to get rid of the Dutch?
