Best Round Score IS NOT GETTING THE BEST SCORE IN A ROUND, no matter how much it seems like that. If that were true I would have about 300 gold stars, but i don't, i have 20. Best round score(in my opinion and thought) is getting the best score for a particular area after a round(Example: say you have the best resupply score of 6 in a round it will show up in yellow at the end of a round. THAT must be best round score, because I know for sure it's not getting 1st place. This is not proven, just a well-supported theory. I'm going to experiment with it on Wake Island to get a Best Round Score because I need 100 towards getting the Peoples Medallion. If I get best repair score, and my Best Round Score progress goes up to 62 from 61, then I am correct. I just brought this up because there seems to be a lot of confusion with it.

The theorie isnt right... just the HIGHEST score that you gained on a map is the Best Round Score on that map... cause its the Best score you got on that map...
and it has nothing to do with Gold Stars...
and it has nothing to do with Gold Stars...
WTF? why ru? HUH?
why not just ask what it is?
whatever
why not just ask what it is?
whatever
i'm not quite sure if i get what you're saying. in my experience, the highest score at the end of the round gets the gold star. it has always happened to me, even if i don't get alot of "yellow highlights" on that end round screen. in fact, the lowest amount of highlights i've received while still getting a gold star are 2 (highest combat score and of course highest score for the kit i was using). the only exception to this that i've witnessed is when the the highest score is shared by two people. in this case the gold star goes to whomever has more highlights on that screen you mentioned.
The best round score refers to your best individual score in a round on that map/army/etc. that doesn't necessarily mean you got any medal or any best scores out of the team, its just the best score you've ever personally recieved for it.

Yeah sorry to inform you Gunsmoke but you couldnt be more off. The best round is definatley an individual achievement. B.R is your highest score on a given map. This has absoluelty nothing to do with getting your stars ie bronze silver and gold, thos are awarded to those of us talented enough to get one of the 3 highest scores for that round on a given server in a given round, not an accumalation of points, not some crazy mathmatical formula , just the highest score...PERiod.
Are you drunk man?
so if i read you guys right, you get it by getting my personal best score on a map etc. so if my pervious best is (as an example) 45, then i play the map (etc.) again and get 50, then i am closer to getting that badge?
this is the dumbest fucking thread iv ever seen.......man i thought some of the 9/11 theories were wacked.
It sais my best round score for wake is 118.
And thats what I have scored... Dunno what you are on.

Best round score is a personal achievement that counts towards nothing other than the Golden Scimitar Medal, Navy Cross Medal, and Peoples Medallion Medal. When you look at the scoreboard, that number closest to your name is your "round score". If you were playing BF2 for the first time ever, on Strike at Karkand, and you had a round of 10, then got a round of 20, 20 is now your best round score for Karkand. Understand everyone?
i think alot of people think it means you need 100 gold medals as usmc for say, the nave cross.AmBiTiOnZ23 wrote:

which says 100 best round score usmc, but as you said it only means you need a pb of 100 points in a round as usmc.

The "Best Round Score" is the highest amount of points you've scored in a round for a particular map or army. For example, my highest score on Sharqi as MEC is 98 points. If I managed to get 114 points on, for example, Gulf of Oman, then my Best Round Score for Oman and the MEC would be 114. The Best Round on Sharqi would still be 98.
It's simple, Best Round == Highest Points.
It's simple, Best Round == Highest Points.
under B.R in your stats, its YOUR best round as that army, not how many times you have had the best round in that game....get it? i even explained it a few posts up!!
if you still dont understand then we can offer no more help on this as it cannot be explained any more clearly in words provided in the english dictionary.
im clossing this so i dont pull any more hair out.
