DX11 is out, came with Win7 as is DX11 hardware.Mekstizzle wrote:
True, right now you could say that the hardware is quite far ahead of the software, but DX11 is around the corner to change it all, I guess.
Also, MW2 isn't a bust.
Surprisingly.

Built the diffuser today, I forgot to take into account the the 5mm edges that the side panel connect to, so its about 1cm to long to fit into the case. I'm gonna have to shorten it up tomorrow, so far I am pleased with it though. Still have to add the holes for the tubing as well.
Can't you remove the GPU and tilt it so it will slide in on an angle, then rest it flat once it's inside the case?
If it was just the flat top piece that would work, with the side piece on it adds that little extra. Even with cutting it, I may have to remove the mobo to get it in.Sup3r_Dr4gon wrote:

Threw this together last night... may use it so I can turn the lights on or off easily. The way things are looking, this build should be completed this weekend.

Love the look of the build Nic, must be really rewarding seeing this come together at last!
Thanks, and yeah it is, I'm glad I took awhile to build it. The extra time has allowed me to do a lot of little things that I would have liked to have done with my last build, but was in to much of a rush to complete.CammRobb wrote:

Soooo... after removing the mobo, fitting the rad and diffuser, some cursing, enlargement of mounting holes, fitting, cursing, enlargement, etc. until it fit. I finally managed to get the thing in. Still need to take it out, figure out my cabling for it, and mount 2 tubes to it before its finally in place, but I'm happy with it.
Heres a quick taste:

Looks good. Though I think you might have a few fitment issues with it - that case is really tiny. Why didn't you get something larger for everything you want to squeeze into it???
I'm pretty sure everything will fit fine, I did alot of measurements before ordering everything, It will be betwee 5-10mm clearance between the diffuser and the bottom of the mobo.CapnNismo wrote:

I went with the mid-tower because that was the goal, to fit everything into the smallest possible space. If I had a 2x120 rad, I would have went with the lian li pc-350v mid tower. I got kind of over the whole huge case thing at the point when I decided to to this build. I wanted everything as compact, neat, powerful, aesthetically pleasing as possible within my budget. The only way to fit a triple rad into a mid tower was to buy a top mounted PSU and a Matx board, or to get one of the koolance shrounds and mount it semi-internally on the roof of a bottom mounted PSU case.
GTFO max. You can buy like 100000 computers if you want.max wrote:

Starting to come together, couple more tubes to run, then comes the filling, it will be an awkward one if there are any leaks. Fingers crossed. Looks like I may need a 4 inch led strip for the top sos the rest can be seen, I thought that might happen.
Finished running the tubing:

its taking forever to work the air out, and I dont like that, its hard on the pump.... no leaks though, so some good news. Cant seem to find my dye anywhere, its getting annoying.
