So I've been watching a few American shows recently and they've all been themed around Thanksgiving because apparently it's Thanksgiving. Made me think about this topic, about how many, possibly millions, of extra Turkey's have been killed around the time of Thanksgiving to cope with demand, and it makes you think, really it's no different to this shit, maybe it's worse because Thanksgiving isn't even a religious holiday or anything, it's just kinda... nothing really, infact it's celebrating the rape of Native Americans, with the killing and devouring of millions of Turkey's. So you could argue that shit, it's much worse, depending on how you want to write it.
It's no different to the millions of extra animals killed around Christmas time, or any other holiday time. And that, at the end of the day, there's alot of hypocrisy going on.

Yeah it's stupid, the reasoning behind them, but it's still the same thing, both are tradition. Both involve the slaughtering of animals on a mass scale, arguably on a much much more massive scale in the West than in Nepal. The articles even said most people do it for the sake of tradition. Same with Thanksgiving really, it's less of the Giving thanks to God and more of just doing it for the sake of tradition for some. You could make Western traditions sound as stupid as what these guys are doing.
