I guess 32 would suffice, currently using a 28" tube so it would be a vast improvment. Any gems out there? Was looking at an LG 37LH3000 but i can't get my hands on one anywhere near me.

Would prefer to buy it from a store local to me, but if anyone can help with the model etc... I'm just lost in a myriad of options and models.

edit: i'm out of karma right now but any suggestions/help will be rewarded in due course <3

Out of the 37's I saw for your price range, the LG 37LH3000 looks pretty good.

If you decided to go for a 32", the Samsung LE32B550 stood out to me. Gets good reviews and specs look all good (plus imo Samsung is a pretty safe bet)

Main thing is, i wanted to buy local, so i know i was going to pay more for something and realisticly my budget was £450, which the 32LH5000 was exactly. I know i could have got a better deal online, a bigger tv and perhaps a better panel. But buying local had a big say in the matter.

If the 32LH5000 is that bad, and of course thats always down to personal preference, i can assure you i'll be taking it back and getting something else. I read about questionable black levels on the LH5000 but the recommended panel was another £150, Antonia and I can't stretch to that.
