Well, you're putting a physical barrier in between your phone and the speakers, reducing the interference hitting the amp. Could be to do with the iron in your blood maybe? I dunno.liquidat0r wrote:
Minor development: If I cup my phone in my hands when it's ringing I can substantially reduce the loudness of the speaker bleeping.
He willed it.
My state was founded by Batman. Your opinion is invalid.
I didn't think this happened anymore?
ALL my phones used to do it, I haven't had it happen in a long time, and havent heard it happen with anyone elses phone/speakers...
I thought they had "fixed" something with cell phones that had made this stop happening.
How old is your phone?
It seems like it used to happen with my old cheap sprint phone, but doesnt happen with my new verizon phones... maybe something to do with CDMA vs what ever the hell else it is?

Same thing happens when my work Blackberry transmits any sort of data, but it has to be close to the source of the speakers. It's interesting that you get huge interference across the room.
I'm not sure if there's much that you can do about this though. The phone is probably not shielded very well all.

Remember Me As A Time Of Day
My old phone would do that and make the image on my CRT fuck up and wiggle, it was kinda fun to watch
