I imagine Batman is just the same as star wars/indiana.
Actually, I think it's the best one, since you can play both the hero side and the villain side, making it kind of two games in one.
Much more gadgets and features to use than in the other, older games.
That is, if you like the Batman/superhero genre.

Wtf is Jazz Jackrabbit? Sounds like a vibrator.
It's a classic platform game with a rabbit shooting tortoises.
The classic one was made by Epic Megagames who later made the Unreal series. It's like a mixture of Sonic and Earthworm Jim.
The sequel has excellent (online) multiplayer capabilities with 4-player split-screen. It still has an active fanbase with multiplayer games going.

I've heard a bit about Plants vs Humans, what's it about?
Plants vs.
Zombies.
It's a "tower defense" like game where you need to protect your home from incoming waves of zombies who want to eat your brains by planting various plants with different abilities in your garden. Very funny and quite addicting.

What's Braid?
A very nice, indy-developed puzzle/platform game.
Nice puzzles, in parts physics-based, and some mind-bending time-rewinding feature to solve them.

Is Re-volt like Volt?
I don't know Volt.
Re-Volt is a RC-car racing game, which has arcade-style weapons and powerups, but also a simulation-like RC car physics.
You through real-life environments like a supermarket or on a cruise ship.

Tried to play Worms Armageddon, really doesn't work on Windows 7 tried World party and New edition too.
Ah, yeah. With one of the newest alpha updates from November 2009 it is quite playable in Win7 now, IIRC.
A new beta release should be around in the near(er) future.
The game is maintained by two nice community guys who got the source code from the devs, BTW.
Forget Worms World Party.
It is basically the same game, but now far inferior to Armageddon with all its new features from the beta updates.
"Worms Armageddon New Edition" is an illegal, pirated version which just has one of the older beta updates pre-installed and some publicly available user maps added.

What's Total Annihilation?
IMO, the best RTS ever.
Made by Chris Taylor who later made Supreme Commander.
I still get back to playing Total Annihilation every now and then, while SupCom kept me playing only the first few levels.
The charm of that old gem from 1997 is just to nice.
With its super-fluent 3d polygon graphics it blew all other RTS games like C&C away back in the day and up to the early 2000s it could still rival most RTS games in playability and balance.
The developer Cavedog went bankrupt, but to this day there's still a large fanbase and online multiplayer games availble through 3rd party clients.

SupCom expansion = Forged Alliance? Played it.
Yes. Nevermind then.

Not heard of any of the adventure games
Monkey Island and Sam & Max are the archetype of a point&click adventure game.
Witty dialogs and in-jokes, wacky characters and nice puzzles.
The classics were made by Lucas Arts in the Golden Age of adventure games in the early to mid 1990s, and the remakes were made by Tell Tale Games who did a great job in continuing the fun while staying true to the classic values.
Psychonauts is made by a guy who worked on MI2 and other Lucas Arts adventures.
