I've been watching it on Hulu as they are released. I missed out on the first series as I was still swimming in my daddy's ball sack so I don't have anything to compare and contrast it too. So far I gotta say it's pretty.....meh? Not good but not bad either, just something I watch to waste time.
As for the pilot, all I can say is WTF. They had been advertising these "We come in peace, always" things with like happy aliens and shit and in the first episode you're all like "maybe they is nice alieons, that would be refreshing" and furthermore, ABC could have strecthed it out a bit with the whole "are they bad, are they good" stuff for a few episodes. NOPE. Halfway through the first episode it's like "LOL WE IS EVIL REPTILE ALIENS, SORRY 4 FALSE ADVERTISMENTS" as if the ominous bloody "V" title screen didn't give it away.
Now that we know they is evil, I feel as if I can skip the whole series to the end and just see how fucked up the human race is, because seriously, if a priest, a woman cop, a neegra and a Coast2CoastAM listener can defeat an alien armada that just blinked at an F-16 and killed it, then I'll eat my hat.
