ATG has a plant aquarium. Fuckin' freak.

We got a 10 gallon (I think, stupid US measures) tank, with quite a few warm-water tropicals, but my parents got lazy and stopped cleaning the tank. There's two left, of about 10. Oh, and a catfish.

When they die we're gonna make it a cold water one (less cleaning apparently or something) and restock it.

ha, used to have a tropical fish tank, was fair ace for a while.  I got a load of those rainbow shark fish (?) which battered the other fish to death, eventually killing each other in their struggle for power.

edit:  yep, rainbow shark fish;

lol, I wouldn't set foot in that cess pool.

I switched out most of the plants since that photo op for softer ones, the barbs were cutting themselves on the edges (damn Chinese manufacturing)

Mines a Corydora, hopefully he won't get much bigger than 2 inches, he (she?) already claimed the entire front of the tank as his territory.

In the US we had an aquarium! It had Neon Tetras and gold fish and some other random junk. We had some friends who had a giant one with tons of all sorts and sizes of fish.

no worries then, you were able to identify it before it got ginormous. in their defense, it was the first time they'd try running an aquarium. btw, that's a nice setup - is there any special care to it, or just regular maintenance?

Have a nano cube.  Salt water.  Toned down over the years from a 55 bow to a 12 gal.  Got a percula clown and a 2 peppermint shrimps. I used to have tons of corals in it.

I have three aquariums.  One 60 litre cold water tank with fantail goldfish in, one 60 litre tropical tank with 6 yellow mollies in, and a 120 litre tropical tank with 6 neons, 3 red platies, an albino cory cat, 3 zebra danios, and 3 cherry barbs.  Actually, only 5 neons now as one died yesterday and I watched the barbs tear his tiny body to pieces and munch him down.  Have another tank that had guppies and mollies in but had a big breakout of Ick and it wiped that tank out so it's sat empty at the moment.  One day I'd love to keep Oscars, but those buggers get biiiiiiig!

Nice, my gf wanted some balloon mollies, but I can't keep them with the cory, they need different salinities, I may get her a small tank for Christmas with two mollies

nothing special, the fish had a parasite infection early on that I had to medicate, but just a weekly cleaning and water change.

I'm leaving for a month in december-january though, so I have to find a way to dismantle and move the whole steup

Did you get an Ick outbreak too?  I just could not get that shit to budge from my guppies.  Medicated the water as directed but it just would not go....

Yep, 5 days on Biospheres Maracide cleaned them right up, then a new filter and 50% water change.  All the barbs had it, not completely covered, but they spent a lot of time itching themselves, the catfish seemed to be immune (or I couldn't see them against his skin).  They haven't had it again since, but I haven't added any new fish either.

Sigh.  I miss that setup.  Only pics I have are from early on.  The tank life exploded though.  My Hammer coral took off.  The Fava brain was badass too. That's Nemo I.  I'm on Nemo II (he's now at least 4).

My two most favorite fish were a porcupine puffer and an undiluated trigger.   Both mean as hell.  The Trigger was in a tank to his own.  He'd kill anything put in there with him and would eat coral.  He killed a lion fish at the LFS and the owner basically gave him to me.  He lived for over six years. I brought him back from sickness twice.  The porcupine was an asshole too, and if I didn't have the grouper in the tank he'd a owned it.
