This is clearly the best music video; it clearly outlines the intent of the song, for you unintellectual morons who can't understand it based on the brilliant lyrics. It's about a couple getting married and the priest first asks the girl (Katy Perry) if she wants to marry him and she says yes then he asks the boy and after thinking about it he just looks deeply in her eyes! Then Katy turns around to the people there like for example her family and friends and he doesn't answer and this is where the song begins ie the vid is a great intro to the song which helps us understand. She starts the song superbly with "You changes your mind, like a girl change her clothes" then he gets scared and runs out of the church and she follows him. The deeper meaning of this line (ie - the hidden message, it's quite discreet) is that he has changed his mind, and doesn't want to marry her any more. The rest of the song is about how annoyed she is about this and she says different stuff about how their marriage was supposed to be and stuff they were gonna do etc. The video starts very fun and happy with two young people getting married but then it becomes sad because the guy says no. BUT when the song is over we see that he says yes and then the movie is a lot happier again. I think the deeper lying theme of the song is people changing their minds and that that's bad and also that everything is a lot more happy when you keep what you promise.

I don't see many music videos, but there are a few others that I'd consider posting, from Royksopp, Aphex Twin, or even Rammstein. But I'm afraid that nothing can top the one I already posted. I guess I could make an exception for decades, maybe centuries, but not millennia (2nd millennium ended at the end of 2000, not 1999). I don't think there's a year 0.
