My tendency to push the page down button is mostly controlled by my mood, obviously if someone deliberatly Tk's me, my finger instantly hits the page down button.

Now and then if I'm just in a bad mood my finger does "accidently" hit the punish button, it's a bad habit, but tbh I don't do any of the running infront of machine gun fire so most of the time when I get Tk'd it's due to smacktardism from my teammates.

But my pet hate is grenade spamming, if casually throw your explosive device near me and fragments from that explosive device kill me, yes you will get punished, maybe you'll be more careful where you throw your grenades next time. The minimap has my position, check it before throwing that grenade.

Also for pilots even if you take out 6 people around me but still tk me an apology should follow, I wouldn't punish , just if you TK anyone make sure you press the sorry button a few times

If you are surrounded by a group of enemy and you are wailing away chaotically with your gun hoping to drop one before you die and you get TKed by incoming fire (probably a PKM or Grenade) trying to take out the other 4 or 5 enemy that surround you. Don't punish and Esspecially don't punish if we actually DO take out those 4 or 5 guys and revive you before you vanish!

And one word of advise to Jet Pilots.

If you see a squad of 6 taking a flag and an enemy Tank/APC roles in and is right next to us very close.
Unless you are a Godlike Jet pilot that can place bombs directly on that Tank/APC, please let us go and go after a different target. Not every target on the ground has to be YOURS and yours alone. Your bombs will most likely kill us in the squad as well as the tank/apc negating any and all points and most likely get you even less with negatives. Jet/Bomber pilots please use your head when making bombing runs on contested and flags. Thanks.

trying  and doing are two completely different things...and to be honest if he could have taken out the tank he would have but he didn't. Be happy the tanks out of the picture.

Wouldn't it be smarter for the squad to pull back allow the jet to destroy the tank or at least soften it up some first?  Communicating with your commander can be a big plus in this situation... -
commander squad 6 needs uav at our location we are going to take this flag....
copy that  squad 6 too much armor at that location hold wait for air support there is heavy armor and we cant afford to lose any more tickets.
air support softens up the flag for your squad ..
your squad gets the cap ...

All vehicles leave the enemy heat signature when teammates get out. It is possibly the most flagrant idiotic glitch ever, and just about every pilot is familiar with it in a painful way. People that have never flown, don't know about it so they usually punish. Everyone then has to learn to watch the mini-map while flying which has its advantages and disadvantages. Then again, people usually punish for everything including people like david363 moron extraodinaire.

Yeah this happened to me last night.  I was sniping on Gulf of Oman from one beach side flag to another at a guy firing his M249 SAW at me at pretty long range.  I was about to nail him in the face when some idiot jumps in front of me with his leg right where I was aiming.  Thankfully it was a no-punish server.

I forgive TK's, unless its a stupid effort like im standing there and some MUPPET runs me over when to them im in clear sight.
If it partly my fault I wont punish anyone, Had afew where I've been killed for flag caps, thats not funny.

At the end of the day everyone has a different style of play, If someone doesn't play how you do it can frustrate you, but hey!.

I sometimes run in past someone thats prone fighting, I don't run infront of them as I know what would happen, and yes sometimes I have been TK, don't puynish for it though, but sometimes I've got to the guy just has he's won his little battle and finished him of, returning to revive my Prone friend.

I don't punish or forgive someone in any relation to there score, thats a stupid idea.

I have punished and voted for a kick not realising it until it's to late as pgeup & dwn are reply keys to orders , I say sorry when it happens though.

Yea but it would be a perfect world if something like that happened. Usually the tank suddenly spawns and someone jumps in or the Squad is already in the process of taking the flag and have an AT guy with them but before the AT guy can do his job a plane flies in and bombs the crap outta everything including the squad. That's the situation I was more requesting not happen.

If you watch your minimap more closely it wouldn't matter would it?

when im stuck in the open ive often charged tanks down with my knife and jumped on top so they couldnt get me, the guy jumps out to shoot me off and i steal his tank and run him over

God I hate those guys that arty our whole squad of 6 fucking people because they think they can get some kills and pad their KD ratio while the TKs are ignored against their stats. I almost miss the commanders getting -4.

I think some people actually do it deliberately.

Seen a guy on my team at #1 drop 3 places as 2 guys from the same clan ran into a CP, as he was firing M1A2 main gun, 6 kills, 2 were those guys. Both punished.

And for the most part I try to be forgiving, if I see no other kills by him, or his death and see no reason why I was TKed OR a sorry. I punish like he was my personal Masochist.

I always punish if it was intentional or very dumb.  (Very dumb would be throwing grenades in our area to get the one guy, running me over to run over another guy, etc.)  I sometimes punish depending on my mood and if they apologize or revive me.

I never punish when I know I was careless or it was an accident and they apologize or revive me.

Something bothered me last night.  Playing Wake, I was the fifth person in the transport chopper.  When we almost made it to land, we were getting shot up and about to blow, so I bailed.  A second later I saw it go down and said I TKed four people, so my score went from 2 to -14.  Two of the idiots insta-punished me.  I'm already mad that my score went down and understand if I were the pilot and bailed on them.

I agree.  I had a similar situation in Karkand.  I was prone, firing my PKM at a guy, and a squad member ran in front and stopped in front of me.  Two bullets with PKM took him down in that split second, so no, there is no time to stop the mouse.  He insta-punished, so I cursed him out and booted him from my squad.

Happens with Vehicles as well as assets, you place C4,
while you are doing so, another spec guy ambles up, and places his too, and doesn't sprint away, just takes his time, knowing full well that you placed first, and risk killing him if you blow it too soon. When it happens to me, I normally say 'fuckem' and detonate anyway.

Complete assclowns do this, on a regular basis, and punish.
I see it happen playing Warlord an ASSLOAD.
