I played MW2 on all high settings all the way through and had NO lag. now im replaying it and I have lag a bunch same settings...
wtf.

i ran advanced system care v3 and cleaned it and its still slow

Check your ATi/nVidia settings to make sure you've not enabled higher quality settings.
Update drivers
Clear out dust from computer
Run anti-virus
