In 170+ hours, I have never seen a vote of any kind actually succeed. Which is unfortunate; a few times they really needed to. Has anyone found this system useful at all?

How many times do you see a vote succeed (mutiny, map, or kick)?

I've seen 2 votes actually work. Even though it was a 32 player server with only the bare minimum people playing both times.
never saw it. really ea must make the vote system work
Yeah they could do with lowering the numbers required a bit. The main problem is that most people are playing the game and ignore the messages (I have them turned off). Also a lot of the time you don't know whether its real or its some 12-year old upset because some guy is beating him.
Once this guy was spamming "enemy boat spotted" messages on Mashtuur, we had like 5 kick votes, but couldn't get rid of him! He stopped after a while though. I guess if it pisses you off you should play on an admined server... Although I hate being kicked for nothing... Meh.

Once, and that was when it was a lan on 64 DV with 6 people, me and my mate started a kickvote against a 11 year old shit that was being a tard and the required votes was 3, didnt even have a chance to react
Never seen it on a full 64 player map.
Seen it a few times when the map has less people.

if you got to the msx stat pad server you will see a kickvote sucsessfull everytime on you!
I saw it once that it worked i was like HOLY SHIT ITS TRUE THE LEGEND OF VOTE KICK IS TRUE!
When the votes come up in the bottom of the screen in grey text I never look n stuff, I sort of miss the vote every time. If the text had the same colour as when ur invited to a squad or when you get offered command I think a lot more people would react and vote.
The greatest problem is that no-one votes on the kickvotes.

Seldom there are an explanation to why a certain player should be kickvoted, i always vote no if no reason is being added.
And in a 15-20 minute game u usually get 10-15 kickvotes by noobs that want a leading player out of the game for some odd reason and a couple of kickvotes against the commander.
In 500+ hours i think i have seen 2 or 3 go because of a kickvote and i`ve had multiple against me because of being in a medalposition.
Used to bother me at the start but now i dont care anymore, getting used to it :-)

Wait behind the line ..............................................................
Seen it work once through numbers and a couple of times through default with the player leaving.
I see it happen quite often, to be honest. Once a day i see several succeed, around 1 or 2 of numbers and a few of default.

[Ed Bighead Voice] Never!....Never!.....Never!....NEVER!....NEVER!
no really, like in 100+ hrs of playing this game, i have never seen a vote get more than like, 6 positive votes. i have never seen anybody kicked or mutinied.
so i just turned the vote system off. screw that, it never works anyways.

i saw it work at the start, afteer that i never saw them workin again
I've seen a few map change votes work but almost never a mutiny or kick vote go through.
I saw a kick vote worked like 3-4 times. Mutiny works more often. (esp.. in a small server)
The system is a bad idea that will never work. There will always be idiots who start vote kicks and most regular players turn the vote system off. Your only solution to a bad player is to play on an Admined server and have the Admin boot/ban the player.
EA should just get rid of it since it is useless and an annoyance to the noobs who don't shut it off.
If EA wants to "keep it real" this vote kick discussion wouldn't be happening since in real life you can't "kick" a guy out of your Army and just try and Mutiny your C.O. and see what happens to you!

*Shakes Head* Maybe in patch 2.8.34 this will be fixed.StabStabStab wrote:

and realize that EA cant code.
only twice and it was low amount of people there was one time though where me and a few guys in my clan were farting around and someone wanted to kick our leader so we all voted to kick our leader but ya we needed like 30 votes and only like 10 people voted anyways
It asks for about 51% of the people in the Server To Vote Yes in order for it to go through...or something, most people just don't care.
