but this whole love story and switching sides because the main guy now wants some blue ass and the whole primitive weaponry will over come modern technology

It's more the fact that the blue dudes are like 10 ft tall and have super strength and reflexes that lets them win, not so much the bows and spears.

Does anyone else think this is going to be a major flop? I can't believe they greenlighted this thing with a $400m budget. I don't think it will attract a large enough audience. Obviously it's aimed at the male audience, but I think a lot of guys will be turned off by the weird blue skin and childish looking environments. It seems like way too huge a budget for a movie whose only solid base is the hardcore science fiction fans.
