I am curious as to the story behind this post, however.
Much of the complexity will be determined by whether or not you have children. If you do, it will be much more complex. If there are no children, then it is much easier, especially if the divorce is amicable.
Alot of people here come from some sort of messed up parentage anyway, from what I gather, so they've experienced divorce in some form or another... maybe it isn't such a futile topic after all
