Answer a few of these please:

How is multiplayer compared to PC
How is using a jobstick toggle button anywheres near as accurate as a mouse
Name some awesome games and hows the multiplayer for them
Can a 360 play split screen but on two different tv's

Convince me why i should get one or give reasons why i should not.

Also, chips for burned games?

It's not anywhere near as accurate as a mouse. And whoever tells you otherwise has never gamed on a PC.

I don't believe so, but you can link two xbox's and two tv's together.

If you have a gaming PC already then I see no reason to buy a console. There's nothing it can do that PC's can't, and gaming is better on PC's.

XBL is good
Everyone uses the same peripheral, it's not a problem
Forza 3, PGR, Halo3, CoD4/MW2, Assassins Creed 1/2, BF;BC, GOW1/2, lots more i cant think off
Multiplayer for aforementioned has all been good for me
No idea, don't do splitscreen on my sexbox much

Buy one if you want casual gaming, i.e chilling with mates or just a quick blast in between lectures. Don't buy one if you mind paying £40 a year for XBL, reliability issues on the older models are a problem and Microsoft generally shits all over you if you want accessories.

If you chip it, you cant use XBL afaik.

Thanks for the great reviews so far. Paying for XBL sounds like a pinch in the cunt. But yeah im looking for a casual gaming experience. Hard to game with mates on a PC so i was juggling either getting another PC or a console. Which either would be rad.

If i got another PC it would be more expensive but i wouldnt have to pay for any 'live' and i wouldnt have to pay for any games either.

If you are looking for casual go for consoles like the 360 or PS3.

That said if just being able to sit your ass_{no offense, I have one too, an ass that is} in front of your TV, pop in a game and play is what you are looking for, get a 360.

Yeah now-a-days thats the only real reason i havn't picked up a PS3. At first it's because it's library was sort of...dire compared to the xbox's, but now it's fairly matched. Except more people still have Xboxs, and in the rare case someone has a PS3 it's pretty much soley for pro evo, in which case we just sit on the one console.

edit, also repping for the 'i had a job when i was 13 and could afford £400 a month nevermind £40 a year' crowd
