Seeings Newegg has been out of stock of 5870's since they came out practically, is there anything I should know about Gigabyte models? It's the only one they have in stock, and they have scary ETA's on the others.

Gigabyte's motherboards are outstanding, so I don't see any problem with purchasing a GPU from Gigabyte.

If the Gigabyte models are worth buying.

EDIT: But it doesn't matter, cause they are sold out now too.

Exactly what I am doing. No sense in paying for an early adoption price if you can just wait a little bit and be able to save tons. This time of year is the worst to buy parts, anyway. All the retailers hike the prices up because of the holiday shopping.
