Are you sure it's grounded? My friend had this and it was because of the 50Hz hum, when he connected a wire from a part of his case to his radiator (that wasn't painted) it went away.

Why would the window be grounded? Do it on your radiator, unless it's painted. A rubber mat won't ground it, it's an insulator so it'll do the opposite.Finray wrote:
